The closure of all East Bay Regional Park District trails has been extended through 9 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31 due to ongoing weather and fire dangers, the district announced Monday night.
While another wind event bringing high fire danger is expected to start Tuesday morning, leading to a fourth PG&E Public Safety Power Shutoff event starting this morning, a relatively small number of Contra Costa County residents will be impacted.
On Monday night, Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia reported that the power shutoff will only affect about 200 customers in the County, in the Moraga area.
Also, the West Contra Costa Unified School District said all schools will be open Tuesday.
