It is with great sadness and heartbreak that I share the news of the passing of one of my students at Grant in West Contra Costa Schools. Guadalupe, or Lupita to those of us who know and love her, was 10 years old. Her passing was not COVID related. The family is in need to cover the costs involved with a funeral. They have a GoFund Me page; however, cash donations would be beneficial and faster. I have numerous items by Avon that have been given to me by my mom to sell as a form of a fundraiser for the family. It’s the season of giving so please stop by if you’re nearby to buy the items, which you can give as gifts. Please pray for the family and us for losing a beautiful member of our community.
