The Richmond Rotary is appealing to locals to enjoy seasonal gift shopping that benefits the community at its “Annual Holiday Auction.”
Set for Friday, Dec. 12 at the Richmond Country Club, the Annual Holiday Auction includes holiday wine, lunch and an auction featuring a variety of enticing and unusual gifts.
“Richmond Rotary will be holding their Annual Holiday Auction tomorrow at the Richmond Golf Club from 12-2 p.m. Funds raised at the Annual Auction are used to fund local community and international programs sponsored by the Richmond Rotary Club. All are welcome,” said Don Lau of the organization. He added that the cost of lunch is $35.
Items up for bidding in the auction include vacation getaways, theatre and concert tickets, whisky tasting events, golf foursomes, gourmet dinners and more. The Rotary stated that the proceeds also benefit local community service agencies and schools, noting that “They need our support more than ever.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy suitable for kids 9 to 12 years old for the Fire and Police Toy Drive.
