McGlothen Temple Church of God in Christ will welcome the community for its annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 3:30–5:30 p.m. at 1443 Fred Jackson Way in Richmond.
The event is free and open to everyone and will feature activities plus giveaways of toys and clothing while supplies last.
This year’s celebration is extra special as the church marks 100 years of ministry in Richmond. Locally known as a long-standing pillar of the community, McGlothen Temple has a century of service through worship and outreach.
“Winter Wonderland is a perfect example of our mission in action,” said Pastor Willie C. Haynes III. “Celebrating our 100th anniversary has strengthened our commitment to this community and to sharing joy and God’s love.”
The event promises fun for all ages, a warm community atmosphere, and a chance for families and neighbors to connect during the holiday season.
McGlothen Temple is part of the Church of God in Christ, one of the largest Pentecostal denominations in the U.S., and continues to serve both congregants and neighbors through faith-based outreach.
