Richmond-based NIAD Art Center will hold its annual gala, now called Artful, at Minnesota Street Project in San Francisco on Saturday, March 8.

Ann Temkin, the Marie-Josée and Henry Kravis chief curator of Painting and Sculpture at The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, will serve as the keynote speaker for the gala, which raises critical funds in support of NIAD artists and programs.

The fundraiser includes a silent auction featuring over 50 art pieces by NIAD artists. The silent auction begins Feb. 14 and continues virtually through March 8.

The gala will include a seated, family-style dinner with creatives and fellow champions of NIAD, and a Live Auction featuring works from celebrated contemporary artists.

A VIP ticket to the event will grant attendees exclusive access to a first look at INDEX, a group exhibition at Casemore Gallery curated by NIAD’s Lucy Zimmerman, along with drinks and hors d’oeuvres. A portion of the proceeds from sales in the exhibition will be donated to NIAD. INDEX is on view at Casemore Gallery through April 26, 2025.
