Weigh of Life, a nonprofit exercise and nutrition organization helping people live healthy lives in West Contra Costa County, is hosting an indoor/outdoor “Flea Market” Sunday, Aug. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Hall in Richmond.

Volunteer Rebecca Feder confirmed with the Standard today that the flea market is occurring Aug. 11. A wide assortment of more than 20 vendors there, and more are welcome to sign-up, she said, adding that proceeds from booth rentals will benefit Weigh of Life and its program Uncommon Threads, which helps underserved women access clothing.

Feder said that the Flea Market will be robust, offering baked goods, drinks, food and plants for sale, alongside a variety of second hand items, like clothing, antiques, jewelry, electronics, kids stuff, kitchen and house wares, art, books, vintage offerings, comics, collectibles, video games and more.

The Flea Market is still accepting vendors, with the fee for a booth being $25. Those interested can contact Rebecca Feder at (341) 500-9215.
