Richmond Recreation Complex swings open the doors on Saturdays

Richmond gets grant to launch 'Food Fit Fund Program'

Richmond’s Recreation Complex has announced that it is now open on Saturdays with extended hours spanning from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., per a Facebook post.

Just as awesome? They have an array of activities to enjoy when community members visit. The Richmond Recreation Complex’s Saturday lineup includes (Note that a “*” indicates that fees apply): 

  • Instructional sessions that include Zumba,* soccer, basketball and chess;
  • Drop-in opportunities for the fitness room* with basketball and soccer available; and
  • Game room fun featuring ping pong, foosball, pool table, air hockey, board games and shuffleboard.

“Please note that youth 15 years and younger need to be accompanied by an adult for a fun-filled and safe experience,” stated the Richmond Recreation Complex.
