Artist Malisa Suchanya will open her solo art show “In This Quiet Place” Fri., July 14 from 5-9 p.m. at the Mom & Pop Art Shop in Point Richmond. The Oakland artist is known as an illustrator who uses acrylic paints in her creations.
Suchanya posted on Instagram that “In This Quiet Place will feature some older works accompanied by works created within the last two years.”
During the opening of the art show, the Mom & Pop Art Shop said it will be serving libations and DJ Jazo will be playing the beats. Also that night, there will be a raffle to win one of the artist’s original paintings.
“Purchase any of her items in the shop up to the show and you get a free raffle ticket,” noted the shop, which added, “Her work is stunning, so come check it out!”
