The “4th Annual Confident Catwalk,” an event that encourages women to walk unapologetically in their purpose, will return to CoBiz Richmond Sat., Nov. 12 from 12-4 p.m. Included in the lineup for the women’s empowerment event will be a catwalk, speakers, honorees, vendors and music. Tickets are $20 per person.

Hosted by event founder Contesa Tate, this year’s event will focus on the revival and rebirth of women’s confidence, mental wellness and self-discovery. It will feature inspirational “empowerment speeches from a powerhouse lineup of boss women who are models of all things confident,” per Tate and will include speakers Cashinda “Cash” Wilson, Christina Lee and De’Jhonea Scott. Also on hand will be the event’s mistress of ceremony, Toni Rochelle, a model and community activist.

The event’s award ceremony will honor “women who have been seen serving and uplifting the community as they walk unapologetically in their purpose,” per Tate. This year’s Empowerment Award winners include Vanessa Calloway, Dawn Moultrie, Dr. Lakita Long, Audra Williams and Yolanda Thomas.

Tate said that the Confident Catwalk will also showcase “female boss vendors,” as well as music by DJ Sticky, a.k.a. Joaquin Antonio Andrade.
