A female pedestrian died after being struck by two vehicles in the area of Hilltop Drive and Moyers Drive in Richmond early today, police said.
Police responded to the scene at 2:21 a.m. and found the pedestrian suffering from major trauma in the westbound lane of Hilltop Drive. She was pronounced deceased at the scene. Her identity hasn’t yet been released.
“Preliminary information indicates that the pedestrian was first struck by a vehicle that fled from the scene, prior to the reported collision,” police said. “A second motorist later collided with the pedestrian, who had been lying in the roadway. The second motorist immediately reported the traffic accident, and has been cooperating with this investigation.”
