Teen critically injured in Richmond shooting

A 17-year-old boy sustained several gunshot wounds and was hospitalized in critical condition in Richmond Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded at 8:42 p.m. to the 300 block of 20th Street following activation of the ShotSpotter gunshot detection system, Richmond police Capt. Al Walle said. ShotSpotter registered 12 rounds fired in the area, Walle said.
