7 Stars Holistic Healing Center in Richmond is offering certain cannabis products at the price of just one penny to customers with a valid COVID-19 vaccine card, and has applied to become a mobile vaccination site through the California Dept. of Public Health, in order to assist in local efforts to decrease COVID-19 infection rates.
Vaccinated people can buy one cannabis product from vendor sponsors Bloom Farms, Revive Pure Life and Papa and Barkley for one cent at 7 Stars, located at 3219 Pierce St. in Richmond, while supplies last, according to the business.
“We saw other local businesses offering vaccine incentives and we wanted to add cannabis to that growing list,” Zee Handoush, 7 Stars’ executive director, said in a statement, adding, “We wanted to offer our platform to help the state achieve their goal of immunity against Covid-19.”
