Travis Credit Union is set to host three free Build a Basic Budget seminars in Contra Costa County this month, including at the San Pablo Library on Jan. 27.

The seminar will take place at the Concord Senior Center, 2727 Parkside Circle, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 8; Antioch Public Library at 501 W. 18th St. from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13; and in the conference room of San Pablo Library, 13751 San Pablo Ave. from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Jan. 27.

The seminar “will provide you with the tools to build a spending plan that factors in your income, expenses and goals,” according to Travis Credit Union. The tools offered will help individuals establish a budget plan that will help in the time of crisis, such as a job loss, medical emergency or unexpected repair bills.

“Learn what it takes to implement a successful spending plan, how to manage that plan and set goals to put your plan into action,” the credit union states.
