They have plenty of phones with which to call Santa. And there he was on Friday at the Richmond Metro By T-Mobile at 12800 San Pablo Ave. in Torino Plaza.
As part of a fun annual tradition at the store, dozens of families lined up to receive free gifts and photos with Santa. Kids were also encouraged to write a letter to Santa that they can decorate with crayons and glitter.
Isa Hammad, who is part of the Metro By T- Mobile team, said they always make sure all kids leave with a free gift.
“This yearly event is a big part of what we do to give back to the community,” Hammad said. “It is a blessing to see the smile on a kid’s face when we are handing them their gifts.”
Kids come in looking forward to it to it in a month in advance, he added.
“This is a way for us to give back to our community and let everybody know we appreciate you shopping here at Metro By T-Mobile,” Hammad said.
