The Richmond Chamber of Commerce is encouraging community members to purchase early-bird tickets to it’s annual economic summit, which this year will be held at Oakland Coliseum right before the A’s host the Kansas City Royals on Tuesday, Sept. 17.
Delivering the summit’s keynote address will be Dave Kaval, president of the Oakland Athletics Team, who will discuss the development of the new Oakland Athletics stadium and the daily struggles and successes of running a ballpark.
The event starts at 5 p.m. After Keval’s keynote address, a panel of corporate executives will lead a discussion on the procurement process and opportunities for local small businesses while attendees enjoy dinner. After the event, all guests will be able to head to a private section of the ballpark to watch the game.
All guests will receive free parking at the Coliseum, located at 7000 Coliseum Way in Oakland.
Early bird tickets are $60. Otherwise, tickets are $65 for Richmond Chamber members, and $75 for non-chamber members. Dinner, ballgame and parking are all included with your ticket.
Chamber President James Lee encourages early reservations given the popularity of the event. To purchase, click here or visit www.rcoc.com.
