PaperCut Pottery will host a “Farewell February Pop-Up” Sun., Feb. 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Richmond.

Owner/Maker Samantha Marie said that most of the guest artisans showcasing their works at the Pop-Up are hyper-local—hailing from Richmond, San Pablo and El Sobrante—thus providing the golden opportunity to “shop local.”

Artists set up both indoors and outdoors at the Pop-Up, along with PaperCut Pottery, will be: Brooke Birch Tea; Josies Keepsake Clay; Olive Juice Soaps; Boutique LuLu; Big Top Sweet Shop; Midulcenina Creations & Crystals; Vida Plant Co.; Color Tags by Julie; Jeeds Treasure Troves; and Trinketz.

Samantha Marie said that she is thrilled to invite neighbors to come out and show their support for local artisans. “PaperCut Pottery is proud to share a family and pet friendly event, free admission, for our community to enjoy.” She added that she always looks forward “to visiting with new and returning guests and can’t wait for our Farewell February Pop-Up.”

The Pop-Up is named as such since it will be the pottery business’ last event at its current location, per business owner/maker Samantha Marie. “We are on the lookout for a new venue to host our annual Procrastinators Pop-Up come December, as it has grown,” she said. “We, of course, plan to remain in Richmond.”

The Farewell February Pop-Up will take place at the usual location: 1201 Pennsylvania Ave. in Richmond. For more info, click here or contact PaperCut Pottery at [email protected]. The event is family and dog friendly, although four-legged friends should be on a leash. Sidewalk chalk will be on hand for the kids. No public restrooms are available.
