The U.S. Post Office is on the lookout to hire new workers. To that end, it will be hosting the “USPS Bay-Valley Virtual Job Fair” Friday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. via Zoom.

To qualify for a job, you must be: At least 18 years old with a high school diploma; a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, citizen of American Samoa or other U.S. territory; and able to pass a criminal background check, drug screening and medical assessment.

During the Zoom, you should be prepared with your driver’s license, educational history (with addresses), employment history for the past seven years and DD214 if you’re a veteran.

To participate in the Job Fair, the USPS recommends downloading the Zoom Cloud Meeting App on your device if you don’t already have it and then logging in via the meeting ID: 161 9724 0844 and password: 519452.
