A driver suffered major injuries after being injected from their vehicle in a crash in the area of I-80 and Pinole Valley Road around 6:30 a.m. today, according to Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union representing Richmond firefighters.
Two Richmond Fire crews assisted Con Fire with the response to the accident. The lone car involved went off the roadway and rolled several times, ejecting its only occupant, fire officials said.
“Crews worked to provide medical care to the patient who was transported to a local trauma center with major injuries,” officials said.
Further information about the crash wasn’t immediately available.
