A new exhibit called “The Beautiful and the Ugly Side of Pinole Creek” is on display now at City Hall in honor of Earth Month.
The photographs were taken by the talented students of Ms. Allison Villars’ photography class of Pinole Valley High School.
“The collection of photographs shows a delicate perspective of the Pinole Creek Watershed,” according to city officials. “Many photos capture wildlife and natural tranquility, while others offer glimpses of negative human impact on the creek.”
Thirteen color photos and a slideshow featuring the students’ own words describing their art can be viewed in the lobby of Pinole City Hall, 2131 Pear Street.
The exhibit will be open to the public during regular business hours throughout Earth Month.
