Kennedy High School Class of 2025 has big plans for its “Grad Nite” on June 8-9. The seniors at the school hope to visit Disneyland.
To make the dream a reality, teacher Mitzi Pérez-Caro launched a GoFundMe to help the students raise funding for the memory-of-a-lifetime adventure. According to the fundraising page, the expenses are approximately $350 per student just to get to the Grad Nite location at Disneyland.
“Help us fundraise for the senior class of 2025 at Kennedy High to have a Grad Nite like the one you had,” Pérez-Caro said on the fundraising page.
Community members can donate to the GoFundMe and can also stay updated on day-to-day happenings on the Class of 2025’s Instagram page @jfk_seniors25 and on TikTok @jfk_seniors25. As of this writing, $650 has been raised toward the students’ GoFundMe goal of $10,000.
Any extra funding will support the senior prom for the class of 2025, according to the fundraising page.
