The Milo Foundation is taking in animals impacted by the fires in Los Angeles and is seeking foster families to care for them.
The Foundation, which has its adoption center located at 220 S. Gerrard Blvd. in Point Richmond, said Monday it will pick animals up from the impacted areas “within a week,” including cats and dogs.
“As we move forward we will try to save animals who would be facing euthanasia due to the need for shelter space for lost, injured and surrendered pets from these tragic fires,” the Richmond-based Foundation posted online.
The Foundation also posted photos of some of the animals arriving or already in need of fostering (see below).
