Everyone’s favorite foodie-fest, Taste of Richmond, is back and promising to be bigger and better than ever, with the event expanding to a whole week—Oct. 7-13, 2024—instead of just one day. The event is presented by the City of Richmond’s Economic Development Commission.

The “week of flavorful experiences,” will include seven days of specially curated menus and unique promotions from a variety of restaurants, according to organizers of “Taste of Richmond—Restaurant Week” that include event Chair Christina Kenney. Participating establishments ranging from long-standing favorites to new spots will offer prix-fixe menus, signature dishes and one-of-a-kind experiences as part of the culinary mix.

“This year’s ‘Restaurant Week’ format allows food enthusiasts to savor the flavors of Richmond at their own pace, enjoying everything the city’s culinary scene has to offer,” organizers said.

Community members can anticipate participating restaurants offering special menus and discounts throughout the week; guided culinary tours to uncover hidden gems in Richmond neighborhoods; chef spotlights giving the scoop on the techniques behind certain dishes; and community events including cooking demonstrations, tasting sessions and live entertainment surrounding the city’s food culture.
