On Monday night, Coach Joseph Aguilar of the De Anza High girls soccer team was presented with the TCAL Stone Division Championship banner for the 2023-2024 season.
Eight student athletes were also recognized for TCAL All League and MVP recognition following a sterling season. They include sophomore Alinah Aguilar, who was voted TCAL Stone Division Offensive MVP and All League First Team.
Also voted All League First Team were senior Sayonara Chavez and sophomore Ivoire Arrington.
Senior Alina Salinas and juniors Dalilah Hernandez and Kenya Moreno were voted All League Second Team.
Senior Julieta Gonzalez and freshman Mya Gonzales earned honorable mention honors.
The team performs at a high level on the field and in the classroom. The current average GPA shared by all eight student athletes named above is 3.6.Â
