Procrastinators Holiday Pop-Up’ rescues late game gift-givers

Those saving their holiday shopping for the last minute should mark their calendars for the “3rd Annual Procrastinators Holiday Pop-Up” Sun., Dec. 17 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sportsmen’s Hall in Richmond.

The third incarnation of the popular event, organized by PaperCut Pottery’s Samantha Marie, expanded to now include a variety of artisan goods and also an Ugly Sweater Contest, dance performance at 1 p.m. by Words on the Wings Dance Co., and a raffle.

Artisan merchants at the Procrastinator’s Holiday Pop-Up will share handcrafted creations such as apparel, bags, body care, candles, crochet, glass, jams, jewelry, leather, home decor, macramé, pet gear, photography, resin accessories, woodwork, pottery and more, per Samantha Marie.

Makers at the event will include Chibiclippies; The Weekend Store; Sewlong Marianne; Athena Craig Designs; Massaro’s Market; Chunches by Viv; Olive Juice Soaps; Boutique Lulu; Stitchtwisted Tales; Effy’s Creations; Domestic Threads; Jeed’s Treasure Troves; Color Tags; Cupcake Crochet; Touched by Grace Jams; Joe’s Keepsake Clay; Felicity Creates It All; Alan Krakauer; Lauri La Pointe; All Knotted Up; Scarlett Garden; Isshin Wood Working; Woof Warehouse; Luna Negra; Hands to Hold; Whimsic Designs; and Surel’s Private Valley.

Samantha Marie said the event is moving to a new venue this year to accommodate double the number of merchants from last year. “Guests will find unique handcrafted gifts, the perfect event for those last minute shoppers,” she added.
