Community Alliance Church heralded its plans to host two special Christmas programs this holiday season, including a “Blue Christmas Service” Dec. 20 and a “Candlelight Eve Service” Dec. 24 in San Pablo.
The Blue Christmas Service, which will take place at 6:30 p.m. Wed., Dec. 20, looks to offer solace to those experiencing loss, grief or hardship during the holidays, according to new Lead Pastor Matt Hall. He added that the evening will offer “spiritual comfort with uplifting readings, songs and prayers centered on finding hope in Jesus.”
The church’s Candlelight Christmas Eve Service welcomes the community to its San Pablo home Sun., Dec. 24 at 10 a.m. Lead Pastor Hall said it will be a heartwarming celebration of Jesus’ birth that will include a mix of traditional and contemporary worship, children’s activities and a communal atmosphere.
“We encourage attendees to dress as they feel comfortable and enjoy our welcoming space,” the pastor said.
