With a combination of talent, discipline and teamwork, the San Pablo Cowboys cheer, dance and step team qualified to participate in the 2023 American Youth Football and Cheer National Championship in Florida next month.

Now, the youth partipants ages 5 to 14 are seeking the support of their community to make their dreams come true. They are slated to compete at the AYC National Championship from Dec. 8-10 and are seeking donations to help them afford travel accommodations, registration fees and costumes.

“This is an incredible accomplishment for our team considering the intense competition and the countless hours of practice we have dedicated to perfecting their routine,” said Cheer Coordinator Brandy Marshall.

Marshall said the children have earned the right to compete at the national level, but unfortunately don’t have the financial means to get there right now.

“We firmly believe that no child should be excluded from such an empowering experience due to financial limitations, which is why we are reaching out to the community to help these young athletes,” Marshall said.

Marshall notes the importance youth sports plays in fostering personal growth, self-confidence and life skills among participants.

“Your investment to these young athletes will undoubtedly have a lasting positive impact on their lives and inspire them to strive for greatness and all their future endeavors,” Marshall said.

Donations of any size are requested. To make a donation, reach out to Brandy Marshall at (510) 860-3030 or email [email protected]
