Stand-up comedian Dan “Gonzo” Machanik will hit the stage at the Baltic Kiss in Point Richmond Thurs., Oct. 26, during a live comedy show starting at 8 p.m. and winding down by 9:45 p.m. The restaurant opens at 4 p.m. for Happy Hour, serves food until 10 p.m. and stays open to 1 a.m.

Machanik, who hails from Richmond, will perform “Let’s Get to the Point,” as part of a free comedy show with comedians Candy Shaw and Chris Beasley sharing the stage for one night. Seating is available to the first 75 patrons, so early arrival is suggested by the Baltic Kiss.

The Marina Bay resident’s comedy pedigree includes being one of the U.S.’ most popular comics in his 20s, sharing the spotlight with legends like Gary Shandling and Tommy Chong and performing at prestigious venues including the Aspen Comedy Festival.

After a wildly successful run in Taiwan and a separate business venture in the beverage industry, Machanik is “returning to the comedy stage with newfound determination and passion” at age 57, per a statement.

The Baltic Kiss is located at 135 Park Pl. in Point Richmond. Learn more here.
