The CHP is investigating a shooting on the Regatta Boulevard onramp in Richmond early Monday.
CHP officers responded at 1:35 a.m. to a call of a possible freeway shooting incident on I-580, but were unable to locate a suspect, victim or associated vehicles.
While investigating, officers located evidence confirming a shooting had occurred on the Regatta Blvd. onramp to I-580, according to the CHP.
The suspect vehicle was described as a brown Infiniti two-door sedan.
“Any information from the public regarding this incident is appreciated,” the CHP said.
