Chevron Richmond opens registration for Community Tour Day

Chevron Richmond is welcoming locals to a Community Tour Day Sat., Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

During the Community Tour Day, community members are invited to meet Chevron Richmond’s employees and take a guided, hour-long bus tour. 

To catch a bus tour of Chevron Richmond, participants should make a reservation. Priority for the tours is given to Richmond and West County residents. Minors under the age of 18 years old should be accompanied by an adult.

Space for the tours is limited; reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis until the spots are filled or by Fri., Oct. 20.

The 2,900-acre Richmond Refinery produces about 60 percent of the jet fuel for Bay Area airports, about 20 percent of the gasoline produced in the Bay Area, and the only lubricating base oils on the West Coast.
