Temple Beth Hillel invites community to Urban Tilth lecture
Temple Beth Hillel is located at 801 Park Central in Richmond (I-80 Exit /Hilltop Drive).

Temple Beth Hillel is inviting the community to a lecture by Urban Tilth on the vital work the nonprofit does in the local community.

The free event, inspired by Sukkot, the Jewish agricultrual festival of thanksgiving, will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, at Temple Beth Hillel, 801 Park Central St. in Richmond. 

In addition, Rabbi Dean Kertesz will host his annual Open Sukkah at TBH’s sukkah (an open roofed structure) – an opportunity to fulfill the rituals of Sukkot among friends, family and community. Light snacks and drinks will be served.

Urban Tilth is a Richmond nonprofit that works to inspire, hire, and train local residents to cultivate agriculture, feed our community, and restore relationships to land to build a more sustainable food system, within a just and healthier community.
