Point Richmond Music (PRM’s) free summer concerts continue this Friday, July 14, with performances by Blü Egyptian and Barrio Manouche.
PRM’s music festival takes place on the second Friday of each month, June through September, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. in historic downtown Point Richmond. The all-volunteer nonprofit organization says it produces the series in support of its mission to build community through the unifying language of music.
While dancing and enjoying live music, local restaurants offer a wide array of cuisines and a rotating selection of food trucks pull up to each concert.
Beverages in biodegradable cups can be fetched from PRM’s no host bar, with proceeds directly supporting the music series.
Festival-style seating is available with a limited number of chairs provided. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own festival/lawn chairs. Visit www.pointrichmondmusic.org for more information.
