The City of Richmond Recreation Division is presenting a Movies in the Park series this summer, with family-friendly movies set to be shown in city parks.
The kick-off event will be Friday, July 7, when Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be screened at 450 Civic Center Plaza (Richmond City Hall).
Future movie dates includes showings of Encanto on July 21, Spider-Man: No Way Home on Aug. 4, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Aug. 18.Â
Dates and movie titles are subject to change.Â
“We will be rotating to different Richmond parks for the other movie screenings, so keep an eye out for the latest updates,” city officials said.
All movies will begin at sundown. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, cozy blankets, and delicious snacks for the movie experience.Â
