A new art exhibit featuring works made from colorful fabric is brightening up the Post Office windows in Point Richmond.

Local artist Becca Riley uses bright, intense colors mixed with different textures to bring these fabric art pieces to life.

She says the use of bright colors is joyful and exciting while the different textures add a tactile element to the work.

“Making art is just plain fun,” said Riley. “It gives me something to ponder, such as ‘What would happen if I did…?’ Creating art solidifies my thoughts and feelings and helps me communicate them to others.”

Becca’s exhibit will be on display through July 6.
