West County residents are encouraged to take advantage of a free, one-day Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event this Saturday, April 13, in Hercules.
Residents of Richmond, El Sobrante, Hercules, Pinole, San Pablo, El Cerrito and unincorporated West Contra Costa County (except Kensington) can come to the Hercules Corp Yard, 1000 Sycamore Avenue at Willet Street, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free event to properly dispose of paints, aerosols, electronic waste (e-waste), batteries, and oil to keep our communities clean and safe,” according to the City of Richmond.
