Dozens of locations throughout West Contra Costa County are set to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, the annual event that aims to forms bonds between law enforcement and neighbors aimed at crime prevention.
In Richmond, the National Night Out kick off will take place in the parking lot of Target at 4500 Macdonald Ave. at 5 p.m. The party will feature food, entertainment and resource booths, and will be followed by a police and fire caravan to National Night Out block parties throughout the community. An end party will be held at Veterans Memorial Hall, 968 23rd Street at 6:45 p.m.
