Animals Together is holding a pet food drive to help East Bay residents and their pets.

The organization is collecting supplies to support people with pets who are receiving services from the Greater Richmond Interfaith Program (GRIP). People can drop off donations for cats and dogs at 7 Stars at 3219 Pierce St. and the Factory Bar at 12517 San Pablo Ave. in Richmond.

The drive needs dry and wet food, treats, leashes, collars, and harnesses. These items help local families care for their pets during difficult financial times. 7 Stars has placed donation bins inside its business to make dropping off items easy for the public.

Animals Together also encourages people to follow their work and donate through their Instagram page. All collected supplies will be distributed through GRIP to reach pet owners in the community.

Founded this year, Animals Together is working to help East Bay families keep their pets by providing local resources and community support. Visit animalstogether.org for more information.
