A couple of slight changes will occur to the Richmond Ferry schedule starting Jan. 2.
A new weekday departure will be added to the schedule at 11:20 a.m.
Also, the weekday 12:15 p.m. departure from Richmond will move back 15 minutes, departing instead at noon.
That’s all, but San Francisco Bay Ferry is implementing schedule changes system-wide, largely prompted by the scheduled reopening of the Main Street Alameda Ferry Terminal on Jan. 2.
The ferries will not operate on Christmas Day, Monday, Dec. 25, and they also won’t be in service on New Year’s Day Monday, Jan. 1. Normal schedules will be in effect on New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31.
