
The family that owns a Thai restaurant in El Cerrito recently made a heartbreaking plea on YouTube to the community amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the video, Ann and Paul Chan, who own Larb Thai Food and Tapas at 90 percent during the shelter in place order.
The business is still open for takeout and catering and is taking all the precautions to ensure safe service, the Chans said. They’re encouraging customers to support them. Paul Chan said they rely upon the restaurant to support their family.

Wonderful food, but last night they were overwhelmed with the large number of orders. People waited 1-2 hours after placing online orders, many of us standing around in the parking lot for an hour. You might want to order at a less busy day and time, or drive by first to see how many people are waiting for orders (they were too busy to answer the phone).
