Richmond Fire Department crews safely extricated the occupant of a van that crashed on I-580 near Regatta Boulevard on Tuesday.
Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union that represents city firefighters, shared images and some details about the incident, in which the van ended up on its side. Thankfully, the occupant’s injuries were considered minor.
The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
