The San Pablo Cowboys Youth Association is gearing up for the start of its Summer and Fall football season and invites the local community to participate in upcoming preseason events.
Starting Sunday, June 7, the organization will host a series of football clinics, speed and agility training sessions, and conditioning workouts at Davis Park. The activities are scheduled to run from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and are free to the public. Participation is open to boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 14.
Also on four Sundays in June, the organization is holding tryouts for a girls’ flag football team and a 7-on-7 program for boys.
All children in the 5 to 6 age group will be able to play for free this year. This offer is contingent upon participation in two mandatory fundraisers. Those interested in learning more about the program or the upcoming season may contact the San Pablo Cowboys directly at (510) 978-6876.
