Temple Beth Hillel is inviting the entire community to its annual “Crazy, Noisy Hanukkah Fair”, set for Sunday, Dec. 7, from noon to 2 p.m. at 801 Park Central St., Richmond.

This free, family-friendly event will feature free kids’ activities, including a bounce house (weather permitting), menorah making, cookie decorating, face painting, PJ Library storytelling and festive dancing. The fair will also include a homemade latke lunch with all the fixings, fresh sufganiyot (donuts), hot chocolate and coffee, along with a bake sale and gift shop offering homemade treats, gelt, candles and more. A raffle will offer exciting prizes, all to support the temple community.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own menorahs and join in a communal candle-lighting ceremony.

“This fair is about more than latkes and sufganiyot—it’s about celebrating Jewish tradition with joy, noise, and togetherness,” said the event organizers at Temple Beth Hillel. “We welcome everyone to join us, whether you’re part of the Jewish community or simply curious to experience Hanukkah.”
