Pizza Guys San Pablo’s new owner started as delivery driver 22 years ago

The Pizza Guys San Pablo has a new owner who started with the company as a delivery driver 22 years ago.

Nick Luthra, who hails from Northern India, is hosting a grand opening (under new management) celebration on Thursday, Nov. 7 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Pizza Guys at 501 San Pablo Towne Center in San Pablo.

“I moved up the ladder and 16 years ago, I owned the Pizza Guys franchise in Concord, and then I bought the Pizza Guys franchise in Walnut Creek 13 years ago,” Luthra said. “When I saw the Sandeep was selling this franchise, I decided to buy it. I have really good staff and they provide good customer service, good quality pizza.”

What is his target market?

“Pizza Guys is for every working person who comes home and wants some good pizza,” Luthra said.

His hopes for the future is to open yet another Pizza Guys franchise in a nearby city, possibly Pinole. Luthra’s favorite Pizza Guys specials include the combo and also the garlic chicken. Some fun facts about Luthra are that he enjoys going to the movies with his friends, helping out the community, and loves golf.
