The West Contra Costa Unified School District (WCCUSD) announced today that all students at every school in the district can receive free breakfasts and lunches during the 2024-2025 school year.
“No additional action is required on the student’s or family’s part — students can enjoy these meals without any fees or the need to submit an application,” the district reported in a statement.
The WCCUSD said it is able to provide this service because it is participating in the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) of the USDA’s National School Lunch and School
Breakfast Programs.
Anyone with questions or those who need further assistance are encouraged to contact the WCCUSD at (510) 307-4580, visit the WCCUSD Nutrition Center at 750 Bissell Ave., Richmond, or email bjellison@wccusd.net.
