Richmond’s Candy Cane Classic set for Dec. 7-9

The community is encouraged to come cheer for their young neighbors as they compete in the 2018 Candy Cane Classic Basketball Tournament in Richmond.

The annual tournament, which takes place Friday through Sunday, Dec. 7-9, has been providing an exciting, competitive experience for youth for over 40 years. Hosted by the City of Richmond’s Community Services Department, the tournament will occur at three locations: The Richmond Recreation Complex, Booker T. Anderson, and Richmond RPAL.

Spectators ages 11 and up pay a $4 entrance fee, while ages 10-and-under pay $2 and ages 5-and-under pay $1. See the flyer below for more information.

  1. Let’s go Richmond; this should be advertised all over the Bay Area. And throw in some food trucks for the additional family and friends that will attend go cheer.
