The Richmond Swim Center is swapping the grass for the pool this spring for its annual Floating Egg Hunt.
On Saturday, March 28, the City of Richmond invites families to dive in and scoop up colorful eggs drifting across the water at 4300 Cutting Blvd.
The event features two one-hour sessions starting at 1:15 p.m. and 2:45 p.m. Participants can expect a high-energy afternoon filled with prizes, treats, and plenty of “egg-citement.”
Registration is open now but requires advance sign-ups, as the city will not allow any drop-ins on the day of the event. The $10 pre-registration fee covers one child and one adult. If you want to bring extra people who don’t plan to get in the water, a $2.50 non-swimmer fee can be added when you arrive.
Parents should note that the city’s standard in-water safety policy applies, meaning adults must be in the pool with children. For questions about registration or safety rules, you can email the staff at richmond_plunge@ci.richmond.ca.us.
