Fresh off a six-show residency with Adam Carolla at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club in Las Vegas, Richmond’s own Dan “Gonzo” Machanik is returning to perform in his home city.

On Wednesday, Sept. 17, Machanik headlines “Comedy at the Factory” at The Factory Bar in Richmond. Tickets for the Richmond show can be purchased through Eventbrite.

Comedy Night at the Factory is a recurring event that earned the distinction of Best Comedy Night in the East Bay in the 2024 East Bay Express Reader Poll. Shows are held in the Polka Dot room, an intimate 42-seat back room of The Factory Bar. Tickets are $15 each.

The following night, Thursday, Sept. 18, Machanik will tape his live special, “Best of the West,” at The California Theatre of Santa Rosa. This event features a lineup of standout comedians, including MC Nate Schwartz and featured acts Pam Rad and Damian Montes.

For those unable to attend the Bay Area shows, Machanik returns to Las Vegas to headline at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club on Friday, Oct. 31, at 6 p.m.
