Rosie the Riveter Trust is calling upon artists of all ages to reimagine the iconic Rosie the Riveter through participation in the “Rosie Reimagined: Vision of the Future” juried online art exhibition.
“We’re seeking creative interpretations of Rosie—past, present and future—through painting, photography, textiles, digital art, poetry and more. Let’s celebrate her transformation from a WWII symbol to a cultural icon of progress, empowerment and equity,” posted Rosie the Riveter Trust on Facebook.
Age categories for the virtual exhibition include children 10 and under; youth 11-17; and adults 18-plus. Entries are due July 15, 2025 and the online exhibit will be posted September through December 2025.
Rosie the Riveter Trust, the nonprofit partner of Rosie the Riveter WWII Home Front National Historical Park in Richmond, said that the selected works included in the virtual exhibition will be part of the National Park’s 25th Anniversary Celebration.
