‘Easter Egg Hunt’ springing into Booker T. Anderson Park

The Crescent Park Residents’ Council and Eastshore Neighborhood Council will get springtime hopping with an “Easter Egg Hunt” Saturday, April 19 at 11 a.m. in Booker T. Anderson Park Community Center in Richmond. The event is free to attend.

A whole host of eggcellent activities will be afoot, premier among them an Easter basket giveaway and egg hunt for the kids. A bounce house, coloring books from the Multicultural Bookstore and fun outdoor games will round out the springtime fun.

Free refreshments will be given out to the first 300 people, including hot dogs.

Alongside the Crescent Park Residents’ Council and Eastshore Neighborhood Council, a village came together in Richmond to make the springtime event blossom. Sponsors also include the Richmond Rotary, Richmond Police Department, Richmond Parks & Recreation Department, Nakele O. Rechenauer, Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church, Fuller Funeral Home, Southside Improvement Group, Nat Bates, Bayview Meat Market, Coronado Neighborhood Council, Southside Plus One Council, Stewart’s Rose Manor Funeral Service and the Laurel Park Neighborhood Council.

Booker T. Anderson Park is located at Carlson Blvd. & South 47th Street in Richmond.
