Point Richmond Gallery will raise a glass this Sunday to celebrate its newest show, The Peace of Imperfection.
The exhibition brings together the work of two artists — Candice Fuhrman and Susy Siddens — whose approaches are distinct but similar in that they center on the exploration of process.
“Each pushes the boundaries of possibility, experimenting with the materials and techniques to create textured, multifaceted pieces that embrace the unpredictable nature of their chosen mediums,” stated gallery officials. “Their core tenet of their art practices is that the act of creation is where true joy lies.”
All are welcome to the show. The Opening Reception will run from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, with an Artist Presentation at 4 p.m. Sunday. A Closing Reception will take place Sunday, May 18, from 2-5 p.m.
