The City of Pinole was recently awarded a $952,000 grant from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission to expand EV charging infrastructure at city facilities, city officials announced today.
The project will include Level 2 and off-grid solar canopy chargers, ensuring 100-percent renewable energy access, the city said.
In addition, a new Tesla Charging Station is now open at Fitzgerald Shopping Center, offering more charging options to residents and visitors.
